Severn Trent has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for waste infrastructure network services for itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig worth an estimated £504 million in total.£500m-plus
The contract covers framework agreements for the provision of 24/7 reactive maintenance, civils and proactive works on Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy waste infra networks including:
- repairs
- cleaning
- installation
- traffic management
- re-instatement
- cctv investigation
- planning and scheduling
The framework is being tendered in two Lots:
Lot 1 Customer Reactive Work ( £444m)
This also includes the requirement to undertake proactive works as part of the annual planned work programme on both companies’ sewerage networks.
Lot 2 Proactive Works (£60m)
Contract term will run from 1st April 2021 until 31st March 2025, with further extension options up to a maximum of four years up to 31st March 2029.
Both companies are reserving the right to commence the framework agreement earlier to take account of any required mobilisation activity, which will take place prior to the services start date.
