Affinity Water has awarded a five year AMP6 contract to deliver a comprehensive water efficiency customer engagement programme over the next five years to water industry experts P.N. Daly Ltd and Save Water Save Money.
The water company wants to provide advice and support to customers to assist them to reduce their water use as part of their Water Saving Programme, helping to secure a sustainable water supply for the future.
Linked to this is an innovative customer engagement programme which will offer Affinity Water customers a free ‘Home Water Efficiency Check’ carried out by a PN Daly technician – checking for water leaks, fitting appropriate water saving devices and providing information to help customers use water more efficiently. With approximately 21% of household heating bills relating to heating water (Energy Saving Trust), customers who take advantage of the ‘Home Water Efficiency Check’ are likely to make savings on their energy bills, in addition to using less water.
Save Water Save Money will be developing the customer acquisition and engagement strategy to recruit householders to request a home visit which will be carried out by P.N. Daly.

P.N. Daly Ltd. is currently working and supporting Severn Trent Water, Thames Water and Southern Water on Tier 1 Frameworks delivering water solutions on both network management and also deliver customer service at the property. The P.N. Daly field team has currently 380 technicians across the UK supported by a further 75 multi utility field teams across the UK delivering customer side solutions and developer sales activities.

Save Water Save Money works in partnership with most of the UK’s Water Companies, to support them in marketing water-saving initiatives to their customers and to this end, offers a range of free water and energy saving products. Via its website the company sells an entire range of products that can help householders reduce water waste without restricting usage, from showerheads to eco-friendly washing machines, tap inserts to water pumps.
Since 2010, Save Water Save Money has distributed more than 2.5 million products saving the country an estimated 35 billion litres of water (cumulative).
