United Utilities has awarded a £90 million facilities management contract for all its sites to Surrey-based EMCOR Group (UK) Plc.
The contract covers the provision of facilities management services to United Utilities sites throughout the North West, including Lingley Mere Head Office campus, London office and other offices at the firm’s water and wastewater treatment works and depots.
Six companies were in the bidding for the contract, which will run for nine years from 12th December 2014. Up to 15% of the contract is likely to be sub-contracted out.
