Severn Trent Water is working with Derby City Trading Standards to turn counterfeit alcohol into electricity.

 

Engineering firm Costain has won a significant contract to build a new duplicate raw water main for Northumbrian Water from an existing intake point at Ovingham on the River Tyne, west of Newcastle, to Horsley treatment works.

 

GMB, the union for water workers, has said that the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee must call private water companies, the Environment Agency and Ofwat to account for allowing parts of the UK to run short of water.
