Not-for-profit organisation Efficiency East Midlands Ltd has gone out to tender with a contract to establish a national Framework Agreement for surveillance camera and video devices, associated software and ancillary products, services and solutions with an estimated total value of £250 million.

EEM Partner, Meta Procurement Ltd is conducting the tender exercise for the framework, which will run for 4 years.
EEM offers cost and efficiency savings for the public sector and all public sector bodies are free to join.
Goods and services covered under the wide-ranging contract include:
- Closed-circuit television cameras
- Closed-circuit surveillance system
- GSM telephones
- Telecommunications network
- Telemetry surveillance system
- Speed camera equipment
- Surveillance and security systems and devices
- Intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance
- Software package and information systems
It is possible that the procurement will be split into the following Lots:
Lot 1 - Devices
Lot 2 - Software
Lot 3 - Services
