Northumbrian Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for its concrete repairs framework worth an estimated £40 million in total.
The water company is looking for expressions of interest from suppliers to join the framework for concrete repair services in both the Northumbrian Water (NW) and Essex and Suffolk Operating Areas.
The framework covers professional engineering, advisory, and design consultancy services including structural and asset condition surveys and reports, scope definition, materials testing and analysis.
Works to be provided under the contract include:
- repair and refurbishment of service reservoirs, water towers, raw water retaining structures, aqueducts, river structures and water and sewage treatment works process tanks
- internal and external repairs, application of coatings and linings to steel and concrete structures together with other associated minor engineering works
The framework will be for an Initial contract term is 4 years with the option of two further 2-year extensions
