Portsmouth City Council has gone out to tender with the third Lot of a coastal engineering framework contract for Southern England - the multiple Lot framework is worth an estimated £6 million in total.
On behalf of the Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership, Portsmouth City Council is establishing a multiple-Lot framework for the delivery of minor coastal engineering works across a number of authorities along the south coast of England.
Two Lots under the framework have already been advertised - deadline is 6th June 2017.
The Authority is looking to have awarded this Lot by 8th August 2017 to start immediately.
The framework will be available for the contracting authorities over four years to 2021 to let call-off contracts.
The Minor Coastal Maintenance Lot, which is the final Lot to be tendered, is worth an estimated £2.4 million. Total value of the multiple Lot framework is estimated to be in the region of £1.5 million per annum.
