water2business has appointed Andy Coates as its new Managing Director to replace Charley Maher at the helm of the business, following her departure from the Group.
He currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at water2business and has six years’ experience in the water retail industry. With extensive experience in leading people, finance and customer service, AndY Coates has helped to shape water2business into the leading retailer that it is today.
Since the water retail market opened in April 2017 water2business has achieved substantial commercial growth, winning national contracts with customers across multiple sectors and delivering savings for them with tailored water and wastewater management plans. It has also been praised for its customer service and in 2023 maintained the No 1 rated position on Trustpilot across the sector, a market compliance record performance of 97.2% and the lowest number of customer complaints of any large water retailer in the industry.
