Retail market: Welsh supplier applies for water and sewerage licence in England and Wales

Treharris-based firm Cambrian Utilities Ltd has applied to Ofwat for a water supply and sewerage licence ahead of the competitive business retail market opening in April 2017.

Cambrian Utilities Limited is a business to business retail company is part of Glas Cymru Group which provides water and waste water services to customers in most of Wales and parts of England through its subsidiary Dwr Cymru Welsh Water.

Deadline to make representations or objections to Ofwat about the application is 14 February 2017.
