Jacopa wins Thames Water contract for SAF

Jacopa SAF Wastewater treatment systems and solutions experts Jacopa have won a key Thames Water framework contract to provide their robust, high-performance modular SAF systems throughout AMP 6 (2015-2020).

Bournemouth Water has redesigned much of its network to use intelligent network calming and pressure management valves produced by IVL Flow Control to reduce leakage.

The Environment Agency is warning communities along the east coast of England to be prepared for large waves and possible flooding throughout Friday into Saturday morning, including the possibility of a three metre storm surge.

The independent Review commissioned  by the Government In February 2016 into the feasibility and practicality of tidal lagoon energy in the UK has concluded that there is clear evidence that tidal lagoons can play a cost effective role in the UK’s energy mix.

Scottish Water limits 2017 price hike to 1.6%

Scottish Water has today confirmed that an increase in household charges is again being limited to 1.6% across all council tax bands – around £6 a year for the average household, providing stability in charges for customers.
