Wales’ leading marine energy conference, hosted by Marine Energy Wales, will take place in Cardiff next year following two hugely successful years at Swansea Arena.

The two-day event will be held on the 7th and 8th May at the capital’s All Nations Centre.
Now in its seventh year, the conference brings industry leaders, experts, researchers and policymakers together under one roof to explore the latest developments and opportunities in tidal, wave and floating offshore wind technologies.
The conference has been carefully planned to align with key industry announcements, ensuring delegates are at the forefront of the latest developments. The event, which is the UK’s largest dedicated to marine renewable energy, features a lineup of sessions featuring industry experts and policymakers, along with a packed exhibition hall.
For the first time, the hall will include a new-show floor theatre, designed to bring presentations and discussions directly to the heart of the conference. The exhibition space offers an unmissable opportunity for companies in the sector to connect with the industry, network, and showcase their latest products and services to hundreds of delegates.
Tom Hill, Marine Energy Wales Programme Manager said:
“We’re excited to be bringing #MEW2025 to Wales’ capital. 2025 is going to be a landmark year for the tidal stream and FLOW industries in Wales and our conference will be right at the heart of it.
“It truly feels as though the marine energy sector is on the brink of a new era, and our focus for next year’s event will be around ensuring we are collectively providing the right support for the industry to progress and to start delivering. Our conference creates the space to do that and so much more.”
Tickets, exhibition spaces and sponsorship opportunities will be available in the new year – visit the Marine Energy Wales website to find out more and register your interest in advance.
