Northern Ireland Water tenders £200m construction and civil engineering contract

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with  a contract worth up to £200million for construction and civil engineering work.

The contract covers the utility’s Water Mains Rehabilitation Framework for PC15 - its third price control programme for the six-year period from 2015-16 to 2020-21.

Northern Ireland Water is looking to appoint a maximum of four partners to the six year design and build framework contract for the construction and/or renovation of water mains of various diameters and ancillary works across Northern Ireland.

The utility regulator for Northern Ireland has said that while closing the efficiency and performance gap between NI Water and comparator companies remains a dominant issue, PC15 will also address longer-term sustainability issues.

Time limit for receipt of requests for documents or for accessing documents is 2nd May, with a submission deadline of 9th May.
