Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has gone out to tender with a five year software programming and consultancy contract for application development services worth up to £35 million.
The utility is looking to appoint up to three suppliers to the framework, which will run for five years with a further two year extension option. Estimated value of the contract is between £25 million to £35 million.
Dwr Cymru Welsh Water is looking for suitably experienced and capable organisations to provide Application Development services to include the following :
- Requirements gathering and analysis;
- Functional systems analysis;
- Technical systems design;
- Information architecture;
- Application development;
- Application testing;
- Application deployment.
The Application Development framework has the potential to include other associated ICT services, including the provision, configuration and implementation of associated hardware, software and systems.
The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 21st February. DCC intends to hold a supplier day on 31st January prior to the submission of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Applicants for Application Development services who want to attend the supplier day need to register their interest by 5pm on 24th January via the Welsh Water eSourcing Portal.
Expressions of Interest will ONLY be accepted through the eSourcing portal and all documentation must be returned electronically via the eSourcing portal.
