Severn Trent has launched a preliminary market engagement exercise on behalf of itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig for an upcoming mobile plant and tool tender in 2026.

The comntract will be tendered in three separate Lots - scope of the engagement covers the following areas:
- Hire
- Purchase
- Service, Maintenance and Repair
The water company is now inviting interested suppliers to express their interest in participating in the Utilities (Severn Trent & Hafren Dyfrdwy) Plant and Tool Tender and complete an online form. Information required includes company and contact details, service and equipment availability and an indication of Lots they would be interested in tendering for.

Severn Trent expects to go out to tender with a formal contract notice in February 2026.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029.
