Yorkshire Water has awarded an AMP8 contract for Portable Gas Detectors - scope of the contract includes supplying, maintaining and repairing PGDs and calibration stations for the water company.
The procurement was conducted as a negotiated procedure with a prior call for competition via the Achilles Information Ltd UVDB system.
Initial contract term is five years with a further two year extension option.
Four companies tendered for the work -n no information has been provided by Yorkshire Water with regard to the successful suppliers.
