Severn Trent Water and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig have established a dynamic market system for the purchase and hire of pipeline inspection equipment for use in waste and water pipelines.

The water companies have a requirement for the ongoing supply of underground pipeline inspection cameras ( eg drain cameras) and accessories (water and wastewater) together with servicing, maintenance and repair.
The utilities launched the process to engage with interested suppliers to help design and tailor a sourcing strategy and procurement process that met their requirements but was also suitable to the widest group of suppliers in March this year.
