Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for maintenance and repair of roller shutter doors, gates and barriers with an estimated total value of £5 million (excluding VAT).

The water company is looking for suppliers on a Scotland-wide basis for the provision of services relating to the repair and maintenance of roller shutter doors, gates and barriers.
Scottish Water framework will include planned work such as regulatory inspection, servicing and maintenance and reactive work including repairs.
The utility is looking to appoint a number of suppliers to the framework agreement, which will cover all of Scottish Water's sites, including both mainland and island sites.
It is anticipated that suppliers will be awarded on a regional basis to ensure ample coverage for the service.
The framework agreement term will run for 96 months.
