Enisca Browne has announced the extension of its successful partnership with South East Water, securing a new contract valued at up to £135 million.

The five-year agreement, part of South East Water’s most ambitious business plan to date for AMP8, builds on a decade of collaboration between the two companies.
Head of Engineering for South East Water, Desmond Brown said:
“I’m thrilled to be extending our contract with Enisca Browne.
“Our successful partnership has already delivered many projects across our supply area which have required civil and mechanical design, construction, refurbishment and commissioning of water treatment works and pumping stations.
“Enisca Browne was also instrumental in constructing a temporary treatment works facility. This was a project which required an urgent solution to support demand for water in the area following the loss of a nearby drinking water storage reservoir when a sinkhole opened beneath the tanks. This project was shortlisted for an award and was an incredible achievement of engineering ingenuity.
“Having trusted partners to help us deliver crucial improvements, upgrades and new treatment facilities is vital for us to be able to continue supplying our customers with top-quality drinking water both now and in the future, in a way that is sustainable and innovative.”
The extended contract will run for its full 15-year term, providing non-infrastructure capital maintenance services to ensure the continued efficiency and reliability of South East Water’s operations. Enisca Browne’s dedicated team will continue to deliver engineering services, leveraging its in-house design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) capabilities to ensure cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative solutions for South East Water’s infrastructure needs.
Steven McCulloch, Director at Enisca Browne commented:
“We are honoured to continue our long-standing partnership with South East Water as they embark on their most ambitious business plan to date in AMP8. Over the past decade, we’ve worked closely together to deliver innovative, efficient, and impactful solutions that have significantly enhanced their infrastructure. This contract extension is a testament to the trust South East Water has placed in us to deliver critical projects that support the delivery of safe, high-quality drinking water to 2.3 million customers.”
Enisca Browne has a proven track record of successful projects with South East Water, including complex civil and mechanical design, construction, refurbishment, and commissioning of water treatment works and pumping stations.
Steve McCulloch added:
“Working alongside South East Water, we have consistently delivered high-quality engineering solutions that improve and expand their infrastructure. Our team is deeply committed to ensuring we continue to provide exceptional customer service, best-in-class safety performance, and excellent value for money throughout AMP8 and beyond.”
