Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is seeking supply chain input ahead of going out to tender with a contract for a fleet management system in May 2025.

The environmental regulator has issued a Prior Information Notice to engage with interested suppliers to explore potential solutions for a fleet management system and vehicle booking system.
The Pre-Market Engagement (PME) exercise aims to gather insights from suppliers on available technologies, capabilities and innovations that can support NRW’s future procurement strategy.
Interested suppliers are invited to participate by completing a supplier questionnaire by 3rd March 2025, to help NRW understand market capabilities, key considerations and potential approaches. The regulator has prepared a PME information pack, which provides further details on the requirements, objectives and scope of the procurement.
NRW will also be hosting a supplier briefing session via Teams on 13th February, providing an opportunity for suppliers to learn more about the requirement and ask any questions.
In addition to the questionnaire, NRW says it also welcome one-to-one discussions with suppliers who wish to provide further insights or discuss their solutions in more detail.
Estimated date of publication of a formal contract notice is currently 30 May 2025.
