Southern Water has gone out to tender with a contractto put an ICA Telemetry Framework in place worth an estimated £8.8 million.

As part of its AMP 7 to AMP 8 Transition and Operational Site Service Procurement Strategy, the water is company is coming to market for strategic partners to support its Instrumentation Automation Control (ICA) Telemetry requirements for its operational sites and network.
Southern Water is looking to set up an ICA Telemetry framework agreement lasting 4 years, with an option to extend for a period of up to 4 years.
Resilience - Southern Water has a requirement to ensure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, that we can access and maintain plant, equipment and assets. region covers Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
The contract is being tendered in 7 Lots - bidders will be eligible to apply for one or more of the following Lots:
Lot 1 – Supply of Pressure & Flow Loggers - £2,600,000
Lot 2 - Supply of Acoustic Loggers - £2,600,000
Lot 3 – Supply of PRV Controllers - £800,000
Lot 4 - Supply of Transient Loggers - £200,000
Lot 5 – Supply of Outstations - £1,200,000
a.) Outstations – (Mains powered – Large) - £800,000
b.) Outstations – (Mains powered – Small) - £800,000
c.) Outstations – (Battery) - £600,000
