The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs has awarded a £2 million contract for low power remote image collection cameras.

Meteor Communications (Europe) Ltd, based in Welwyn Garden City, has won the contract, one of four companies who bid for the work.
Estimated value of the contract when Defra first went out to tender was put at £4 million.
Initial contract term set out in the tender document was put at 47 months with two further potential one year extension options.
