Anglian Water has issued a Periodic Indicative Notice about its intention to issue a formal tender for an upcoming contract for a £22.7 million grounds maintenance services and management framework.

The water company is undertaking a procurement exercise to assess bidders for a framework which will run for up to 8 years.
Successful supplier(s) will be allocated the work through initial award and following mini competition(s). on returned quotation(s).
IAll bidders will be expected to be able to offer services across the whole region- Anglian Water East of England including Hartlepool.
The procurement covers the provision of a wide range of grounds maintenance services across the region, including:
- ground maintenance - planned preventative maintenance
- grass cutting
- weed killing
- hedge/scrub maintenance
- access road / track maintenance
- path clearance
- ditch /drain /maintenance
- biodiversity grass cut
- invasive non-native species removal
- gritting
- snow clearance and winter package
- removal of debris
- emergency tree work and tree maintenance
- ad-hoc tree work and tree maintenance
- fence repairs
- waste management
- pest control
- GIS (Geographical Information System) mapping services
Anglian Water reserves the right to award the role of Regional Supplier to a single winning bidder. The estimated date of publication of the formal contract notice is 1 December 2023.
