Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with a major multi-million pound AMP8 contract for site security systems, equipment and services.

The water company’s tender encompasses several specialist Lots/ sub Lots and contracts to enable site security systems and equipment to be upgraded and maintained across the Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy geographical footprint for the AMP8 period 2025-2030 as follows:
- Lot 1 Electronic Security (Capital framework / Maintenance agreements) - electronic security measures to secure water site assets including visual verification, intruder detection systems, CCTV, access control, sensors etc.
- Lot 2 Physical security (Capital framework only) e.g. rated doors, bar sets over windows /openings,hatches
- Lot 3 Security IT network services (Maintenance agreement only) - Procurement of an organisation to manage all security network services including:configuration, integration, remote support
- Lot 4 Security fencing, gates and barriers(Capital framework / Maintenance agreement[automatic gates] )
- Lot 5 Tier 1 Aggregator (encompasses Lot 1/2/4) (Capital framework only) Tier 1 style provider, for capital install "turn-key" projects. Tier 1 supplier must have access to its own supply-chain to provide all of the requirements, including full CDM capability, design capability, project management, construction management, etc.
Initial term for all contracts is 5 years, with options to extend by a further 3 years.
