NI Water has awarded a contract for the supply of colilert chemicals and consumables and cryptosporidium filters to two of its laboratories with an estimated total value of £1,476,916.
The water company tendered the contract in two separate Lots -
Lot 1 – Colilert Chemicals and consumables
Lot 2 – Supply and Delivery of Cryptosporidium Filters
Initial total value of the contract when it was first tendered in May 2023 was £1,176,000 - both Lots had an estimated total value of £588,000.
Suffolk– based firm IDEXX Technologies UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Netherlands-headquartered IDEXX Europe BV has been awarded the contract – the only company who tendered for the work.
The firm’s ultimate parent company is IDEXX Laboratories Inc which is headquartered in Maine, USA and a member of the S&P 500® Index.
