Northumbrian Water is looking for a partner to support its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) programme - the current contract with its RPA partner is due to come to an end on 31st March 2023.
Northumbrian’s current arrangement in place provides it with both support and development resource for UiPath - the water company procured UiPath software in 2020 and is currently on RPA Automation Cloud Platform version 2021.10.
The utility said that over the last 18 months a successful programme has delivered 22 live processes and significant ROI has been realised. The processes cut across multiple Directorates, the main ones being within Wastewater and Customer Directorate.
NWL is looking to appoint a partner that meets the following requirements:
- in-depth knowledge and a close proven working relationship with UiPath
- experience and knowledge of the utilities sector
- preferable proven history of providing automations within the water and/or utility industry
To drive efficiencies and to allow regression packs to be executed more often and across multiple applications, NWL also requires manual test cases to be replaced by automated tests and require a partner to support with this initiative.
Initial contract term is two years with extension options for a further three years.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 14 December 2022 – click here to access the tender documentation.
