Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for digital transformation consultancy services worth an estimated £20 million.

Scope of the contract is to provide consultancy services specialising in the design, delivery and embedment of business change, including collaboration strategies, skills development, changing organisational culture and behaviours.
The water company said the service will bring water utility expertise and direction to support innovation, and work in partnership with Scottish Water’s Digital & Transformation Strategic Partners.
Scottish Water is looking to award a multiple supplier consultancy framework to deliver the consultancy services to support organisational transformation - successful bidders will be engaged on a project by project basis to deliver the services.
Scottish Water will allocate work between the successful bidders based on specific competencies in the first instance but reserve the right to complete mini-competition or other methods depending on the scope, size, and complexity of the projects.
The water company is looking for suppliers with extensive knowledge, experience and a proven track record in delivering transformation change and projects within utility and construction industry, preferably with water sector experience.
Initial contract term is 2 years with a further 1 year extension option.
