Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply of bridge scrapers worth an estimated £9 million.

The water company is looking to appoint one or more suppliers for the provision of bridge scrapers. The scope of works to be provided under the contract includes:
design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of rotating/traveling assemblies and rotating fixed full, half and rectangular tank bridge scrapers for primary & secondary settlement and storm tanks for wastewater treatment works. Provision of ad-hoc maintenance may be included as an option.
Initial contract term is 3 years plus 5 further annual extension options.
