United Utilities is seeking supply chain input to inform its AMP7 procurement strategy for the repair and maintenance of dewatering equipment.

The water company is currently reviewing its strategy for the repair and maintenance of dewatering equipment during AMP7. The scope will include the proactive preventative maintenance including regular servicing and inspection, reactive repair and the provision of spares as required
for the following types of equipment:
- Centrifuges
- Filter Presses
- Sludge Screens
- Grit Removal Equipment
United Utilities is undertaking pre market research in order to evaluate the current market capability and identify whether there is a potential to put in place a single supplier arrangement, or whether it is commercially viable to put in place a multi supplier arrangement.
