Ofwat tenders £8m consultancy services contract for partner to manage £200m innovation fund

Ofwat has gone out to tender with a major £8 million consultancy services contract to manage its new £200 million innovation fund in AMP7 - the water sector regulator is seeking to appoint an innovation fund partner.

INNOVATION

The water sector regulator is in the process of establishing a £200 million innovation fund for the water sector to be made available through a series of competitions across the period 2020-2025.

Ofwat has identified the need for an innovation fund partner with experience of running innovation funds/competitions to support it in delivering the innovation fund. The innovation fund partner will assist with the design, implementation and ongoing monitoring and administration of the innovation fund.

Initial contract term is 21 months with further extension options of up to 3 years in total.
