Thames Water has awarded a number of AMP7 contracts for information technology and consultancy services – value of the framework was put at an estimated £100 million when the utility went out to tender.

Activities under the framework agreements for digital delivery services for information technology for Thames Water during AMP7 include deployment of resources, advice, innovating IT solutions, and knowledge transfer.
The water company was looking for both SME and non SME suppliers for the contract, which was tendered in a number of separate Lots, including Digital Development, Data Services, Digital Delivery and Architecture.
The initial framework agreement will run for 3 years with options to extend annually up to a maximum of 8 years.
