United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 sewer cleaning services framework contract worth up to £135 million in total.
Services to be provided under the framework will cover the wastewater drainage area system management for the water company.
The scope of services relates to United Utilities’ wastewater network and includes the following:
- sewer cleaning
- sewer inspections
- asset cleaning (Wet wells)
- non-powered ancillary (NPA) inspections and routine maintenance.
The tender is split into three Lots:
Area A — Cumbria and Lancashire (£45m)
Area B — Pennine and Manchester (£45m)
Area C — Merseyside and Cheshire (£45m)
Initial contract term is 5 years, with a further extension option into AMP8 of up to 4 years in total.
