nmcn win South Staffs AMP7 Design and Build Framework contract

Construction specialist nmcn plc has been awarded the design and build framework to upgrade major water treatment works for South Staffs Water.

The extensive rebuilding and refurbishment work forms part of an estimated £60 million investment in the region. Works will take place between 2020 and 2025 across several sites including Seedy Mill water treatment works near Lichfield and Hampton Loade water treatment works near Bridgnorth.

This work forms part of a long-term strategy to develop the sites, continually improving the quality of the water supplied to customers in the region. Both schemes will be delivered to Building Information Modelling (BIM) level 2 compliance.
