Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for cyber security services worth an estimated £1 million.
The water company is looking for the provision of a call off capability for suitably qualified and experienced staff for ongoing assignments in support of the information security portfolio at Northern Ireland Water.
The contract is intended to augment and support the development of the information security function as it grows within NI Water. NI Water said that growth and investment in the information security function is part of its wider Cyber Resilience Programme with the ultimate aim of protecting NI Water’s people and assets from cyber threats.
The contract will initially run for two years with three further annual extension options.
