Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance and electrical work worth an estimated £44 million,
Services to be provided at the water company's water and waste water operational sites include:
- mechanical installations and repairs;
- pump and valve installations and repairs;
- hydraulics; motor rewinds and repairs;
- fabrication and welding; machining;
- electrical installation and fault finding;
- electrical panel building;
- PLC software programming, fault finding and modifications;
- instrumentation fault finding, repairs and installation;
- electrical inverter installation and repairs;
- specialist services;
- pumping station inspections and maintenance.
The contract, which will run for 8 years, is being tendered in Lots, including £22.5 million for mechanical installations and repairs, £8.1 milllion for pump and valve installations and repairs and £2.76 million for electrical installation and fault finding.
Any renewal of the framework will be advertised within 2 years of expiry.
Anglian Water is looking to appoint up to 30 suppliers to the framework agreement.
