Thames Water tenders £28m mailing services contract

Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for mailing services worth an estimated £28 million in total.

The water company prints and delivers approximately 13 millions items of mail annually. The scope of the procurement covers the acquisition of stationery, printing, enclosing, sortation and delivery of transactional mail items and any additional service needed to fulfil this requirement. Thames Water intends to divide the scope of the service into three Lots:

Lot 1 Printing and Fulfilment Services

Lot 2 Downstream Access

Lot 3 Managed Service ( a combination of Lots 1 and 2)

Bidders will be allowed to bid for a maximum of 2 Lots, but will only be awarded up to a maximum of 1 Lot.

Any agreement awarded will be for an initial duration of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum term of 7 years.
