Severn Trent Water awards £9m pump repair contract

Severn Trent Water has awarded a six year contract for the repair and refurbishment of water process pumps worth up to £9 million.

The framework contract covers the efficiency refurbishment, repair and maintenance of its pumps to support water service pumps - largely those sited on its water treatment works.

It will also contribute to work on Severn Trent’s energy efficiency programme – the successful companies will enhance the work of the water company’s own water production and energy management teams.

Walsall-based Integrated Water Services Ltd and Wolverhampton firm Deritend Group Ltd were the companies who successfully bid for the work.
