Six companies have been awarded places on Bristol City Council’s flood risk consultancy framework.
The Council has established a new framework for flood risk consultancy covering the following services:
- Hydrology, hydraulic modelling and mapping – including mapping of river, sea and surface water flooding
- Environmental assessment, including ecological survey and habitat creation and ground investigations
- Engineering concepts and design, including design of mitigation solutions such as SuDS from concept to detail
- Technical advice, including engineering and strategy advice and link with wider city objectives and regeneration
- Project management, including project appraisal and business cases
- Multi-disciplinary services, including the Avon Cut Wall Feasibility Study cases and other larger projects.
JBA Consulting, Edenvale Young Associates Ltd, Aecom Infrastructure & Environment UK, Pell Frischmann Consultants and Ove Arup & Partners Ltd have all won places on the framework.
Estimated total value of the contract, which will run for four years, is £1.64 million.
