Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for routine and non-routine tankering services worth up to £43 million.
The water company is looking to appoint up to 12 suppliers to the framework agreement, which will run for five years.
Services to be provided under the contract cover the transportation of sewage sludge - raw primary, secondary, or surplus activated, or a mixture of these types - in addition to wastewater and other related products, to service the whole of the Anglian Water region.
The scope of the non routine tankering frameworks is to cover sludge, wastewater and related product movements required to various response times over and above those that can be handled by the internal fleet.
The contract is divided into 2 Lots:
- Lot 1 - Tankering Routine and Non-Routine
- Lot 2 - Tankering Specialist Services
