NI Water has gone out to to tender with a six year leakage detection contract worth up to £9 million.
The contract, which covers the provision of leakage detection services for the water company’s sites across northern Ireland, is in 2 Lots as follows:
Lot 1 Leakage Detection Services: leakage detection services to reduce leakage within District Meter Areas with a target figure agreed for each District Meter Area before work commences. The service will be measured on a performance basis and some field activity may be required in relation to collating leakage data.
Lot 2 Leakage Detection Support: leakage detection support to reduce leakage within District Meter Areas during periods of increased seasonal activity and major operational incidents.
