Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a pump framework contract worth up to £21 million.
The water and wastewater pump framework agreement, which is divided into Lots, will run for up to 7 years and is worth between £17.5 million to £21 million.
The water company is looking to appoint suppliers for a range of equipment across the entire geographical region of Northern Ireland, including:
- Lot 1: Submersible (Sludge, Sewage, Clean Water, Cutter / Chopper),
- Lot 2: Progressive Cavity,
- Lot 3: Peristaltic,
- Lot 4: RAM,
- Lot 5: Diaphragm (Double and Single),
- Lot 6: Centrifugal End Suction,
- Lot 7: Centrifugal Spilt Case (Vertical, Horizontal),
- Lot 8: Vertically Suspended Bowl Type Pump,
- Lot 9: Centrifugal Vertical Multistage (Vertical Multistage, Packaged Booster Sets),
- Lot 10: Rotary Lobe.
Suppliers will be required to assist with the design of the solution for NI Water, supply, deliver, install (including the necessary process and control panels, if required) commission and, where necessary, provide spares, consumables, maintenance and on-going technical assistance and training for all the equipment listed within each Lot under one contractual arrangement.
Framework suppliers may also be expected to source pumping related equipment outside the scope of the Lots on a quotation basis.
Duration of the Framework will be for 5 years, plus one optional further extension period of 2 years.
