Thames Water awards AMP6 pollution survey contract

Thames Water has appointed Water & Environment Resource Management Ltd to conduct surveys of polluted surface water outfalls to establish the source of pollution in surface water courses and rivers in its region.

Services provided under the framework agreement contract will include checking of drains for pollution flow and tracing back to the source. Pollution sources will also include domestic appliance missconnections.

The AMP6 contract will run an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 5 years.

Romford-based Water And Environment Resource Management Ltd were one of five companies who bid for the work.
