Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with a ten year contract for an Activated Sludge Plant & RGF Blowers - AMP 6 Efficiency Project worth up to £45 million.
The contract covers the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, on site assembly, testing and commissioning of Activated Sludge Plant and RGF blowers, refurbishments, spares and an option to provide maintenance.
New asset installation and refurbished asset installation would be carried out by Severn Trent Water's Tier 1 delivery partners.
Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement is between £10 million to £45 million. The contract is divided into the following Lots:
Lot No 1: Blowers
Lot No 2: Pipe work
Lot No 3: Diffusers
Lot 4: Surface Aerators
Lot 5: Anoxic / Anaerobic Mixers
Lot 6: ASP Modular System Design and Supply solution
Lot 7: Innovation - New Blower / Diffuser / Mixer technology sufficiently proven to be considered as a viable alternative solution for use by STW within the scope of an ASP solution.
The contract will run for a maximum of 10 years - an initial award of 5 years with options to extend for a further period of a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 5.
