Northern Ireland Water has awarded a £5.2 million contract for the design and construction of its Ballydougan to Newry Main Link Reinforcement.
The work includes the design and construction of approximately 5.8 km of strategic trunk mains, a 4.2 Ml service reservoir, two water pumping stations and associated MEICA works.
Maghera-based firm BSG Civil Engineering Ltd in Co. Derry were the successful contractors. Northern Ireland Water is one of the construction company’s main clients.
