BLU-3-FUTURE-WATER-1Membership of The Future Water Association will enable the company to better understand the procurement needs of water companies and build blu-3’s profile within the sector.

Jim Southworth, blu-3 Managing Director said:

“We have ambitious growth plans at blu-3 that will see us raising our profile even further across multiple sectors, including utilities and water. Joining The Future Water Association is a great step towards helping us to achieve this goal.

“We have a lot to offer the water companies with our skill-set and innovation but up until recently we haven’t been focused on developing these networks to a greater extent. Our membership of the organisation will help us to build those relationships, open doors to new opportunities and enable us to demonstrate our outstanding service offering.”

The Future Water Association is the leading business support organisation for the UK water sector, helping to stimulate business growth, shape the industry’s direction and influence stakeholders.

Holding regular meetings with all the UK’s water companies and Tier One suppliers, the non-profit association supports members to overcome the sector’s challenges. blu-3 will be presented with numerous networking opportunities with key decision makers as members of the organisation.

The water industry operates through five-year capital programmes which see billions of pounds invested into infrastructure. The next programme commences in 2019 and contractors and sub-contractors will be invited to tender for projects led by individual water companies.

blu-3 offer a range of services to the water sector, including design and consultancy, water and sewerage network installation, new connections, meter installations and new and replacement infrastructure.

The company has previously worked with water companies including, South East Water, Thames Water and Veolia Water.
