South Staffs and Cambridge Water consult on household water use

South Staffs and Cambridge Water have launched a customer-wide study on household water use in order to understand the needs of its customers and plan future water resources.

This research  is being conducted by Mott MacDonald on behalf of South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water in the form of an online questionnaire.

The survey takes customers through a series of question on how water is used in the household, including water using equipment, frequency of showers, dishwasher use and water use in the garden.

It also asks how difficult they find it to reduce use and whether they would try to use less water if household bills increased.

The survey includes a prize draw with a top prize of £500 for customers who complete the survey.
