Interserve, the international support services and construction group, says that conditions in its UK Construction division remain challenging in its latest trading update published this morning.
Since the last update on 12 May, overall Group trading has continued in-line with the Board's expectations. Interserve said that performance in Support Services, Equipment Services and International Construction was encouraging, offsetting UK Construction where near-term conditions remain more challenging.
The Board said it was encouraged by the further development of the Group's substantial future workload, in particular notable preferred bidder appointments in the period for UK Construction including the One Nine Elms and the Defence National Rehabilitation Centre projects.
Interserve, headquartered in the UK and with gross revenues of £3.3 billion, will issue its half-year results on 12 August.
