The Institute of Water’s major annual conference will take place in Swansea this year over two days in May.
The conference, ‘For the Health of the Nation: securing, maintaining and communicating the vital water services that power our communities’ brings together high profile water sector and public health speakers. The event will consider key strategic, engineering and human resource challenges and examine the changes needed to ensure the industry can maintain its track record of public health achievement.
Nigel Annett, Managing Director of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water will deliver a keynote speech on the challenges of delivering water and wastewater services to a nation. Ronnie Mercer, Chair of Scottish Water will help delegates to consider whether water companies should be structured as community providers or environmental contractors.

The Conference will bring together representatives from across Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and will be held at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium from May 12 to 13.
