Aquatech Amsterdam 2025 cemented its position as the world's premier water industry event, drawing an impressive visitor attendance of 20,483 from 136 countries worldwide. The comprehensive four-day showcase featured 889 exhibitors across four distinct worlds, complemented by ten country and regional pavilions alongside four specialty pavilions.

Knowledge sharing reached new heights with over 350 speakers, including the two major conferences—the Aquatech Innovation Forum and Integrated Leaders Forum—while innovation took center stage at the expansive InnovationHUB with its InnovationLAB, Investor Lounge, Bluetech Research Pavilion, InnovationHUB Theatre, mini theatre and various groundbreaking projects from universities, the EU, and the World Economic Forum, including Water Security initiatives from Technical University Delft.
Four Aquatech Worlds
The four Aquatech Worlds were well received with packed knowledge programmes. These focus areas embrace the current trends in the water industry, providing attendees with a comprehensive experience tailored to their specific interests and water challenges: Clean Water World, Wastewater & Resources World, Industrial & Corporate Water World, and Digital World.
Attendees also enjoyed programming across two AquaStages and gained global perspective through the screening of the thought-provoking film "One Blue World," collectively highlighting the industry's commitment to addressing pressing water challenges through collaboration and innovation.
Hot topics and innovations
A common theme among entries was a focus on energy-efficiency and sustainability, particularly around PFAS concentration and destruction. The Innovation Forum and Integrated Leaders Forum on the first day of the show featured discussions on decarbonization reshaping water strategies, circular economy solutions, and technological advancements in membrane process design.

As Aquatech Amsterdam 2025 finished, the message is clear: the time for talking is over. As the water industry is at a critical juncture, it is time for action. Time to make the right connections, in person and by connecting innovative technologies and solutions to the immense challenges. Connecting on a global level is key to a sustainable water future.
The next Aquatech Amsterdam takes place in 2027 from Tuesday, March 9th, until Friday March 12th, 2027.
