DRONES SW WATERSouth West Water is working with the University of Exeter to test the use of drone technology and thermal imaging for leak detection. Laboratory tests of the thermal cameras have proved positive and field-scale trials are planned for 2017.

The creation of a £6 billion to £8 billion Tidal Lagoon in Cardiff Bay - between the capital city and Newport - will be discussed by the City of Cardiff Council’s Cabinet at a meeting next Monday.
