Water sector regulator Ofwat is looking to further strengthen its Senior Leadership team via the creation of four new Senior Director roles.
Ofwat said the creation of the new roles would help it to achieve its ambitious strategy for the water sector, reflecting the vital nature of the services it regulates and the challenges it faces, including climate change and population growth.
Each of the role-holders will be part of the regulator’s Senior Leadership Team, providing thought leadership, and ensuring that work across the Ofwat portfolio delivers real strategic benefit.
Describing the work as fast moving and intellectually challenging, within a high-profile environment, the role-holders will also be prominent in external engagement and play an important part in taking Ofwat and the sector forward up to and beyond the next price review in 2019.
All Senior Directors, at a salary of around £125,000 each, will report directly to Cathryn Ross, Ofwat’s Chief Executive
